County extends, then rescinds burn ban

The Archer County Commissioners voted to extend the county’s burn ban until May 1 during a special called meeting Friday, April 1. After a thunderstorm hit the county April 4, County Judge Randy Jackson rescinded the order on Tuesday, April 5.

County receives financial audit

The Archer County Commissioner’s Court approved its outside audit from Edgin, Parkman, Fleming and Fleming on Fiscal Year 2020-2021 during its meeting Monday, March 28. Paul Fleming presented the audit to the commissioner’s court.
