My name is Mike Wadsworth. I am running for Archer County Commissioner Pct. 2. I have lived in Archer County my entire life, most of it in Holliday, but currently I am in Windthorst. My experiences include working for the City of Holliday, operating a Wireline truck, and currently operating Wadsworth Insurance Agency.

I am married to Katherine Jackson. I am the proud father of Garnet and Anna Jackson, and five grandchildren, which we get to enjoy on a frequent basis.

Hello Archer County, I’m Greg Anderson. I am a proud graduate of Archer City High School and Midwestern State University, where I received a B.S. in Criminal Justice. The education I received, combined with 15 years of Law Enforcement experience give me a clear understanding of the criminal justice system from initial report to incarceration and all of the options in between those. I have been married to the same beautiful woman for 25 years. Together with Kevin Harris, and Bradley and Harley Anderson, we have lived in Archer City for nearly 23 years. I am a member of First Baptist Church of Archer City, where I was blessed for years to work with young people, helping them prepare for the challenges they will face as they leave the relative safety of Archer County.

I am very excited to be running for Archer County Commissioner, Precinct 2. A good portion of Archer County knows me, but for those of you who don't, I would like to give some insight of who I am. I was born and raised in Windthorst. I have been married to my wife, Summer for almost 19 years and we have three children together, Katy, Wyatt and Charlee. I am a business owner and have been employed with the county since 2015. In that time, I have had the unique opportunity to serve under three different commissioners and feel that this would be a great asset to Archer County. Being a business owner and always having to work a budget, I know how to get the best return on your tax dollars and will actively pursue federal and state Grant's. I know my WORTH and the WORTH of my employees. I truly believe that I could be a great asset to precinct 2, its roads and the city's that reside in it. Hello, my name is Darin Wolf. I am the County Commissioner for Precinct 2. I have served as our County Commissioner since 2003. Prior to becoming County Commissioner I worked as a road hand for six years for the county. I am a lifetime resident of Archer County and graduated from Windthorst ISD.

My name is Cary “CD” Lundy. I am currently the foreman at Archer County Precinct 1, where I have been employed for the last 4 years. I have been married to my wife, Melissa Parish Lundy for 33 years and have had the honor of raising our 3 children, Makenzie Stubblefield, Mitch Lundy, and Malea Cannedy, together.

I’m Todd Herring seeking election for Archer Co. Commissioner Precinct 4. I’ve been a self-employed rancher for 25 years in the Lake Kickapoo and Dundee area. My wife Jennifer Parkey Herring and I have 2 children, Maeley and Jack.

Isabelle Parkey, of Archer City FFA, placed 8th out of a class of 62, with her Class 3 Light Weight European Cross Steer at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. There are 1,500 steers that compete at the FWSSR with only 270 making the Sale of Champions; only the top 10 placings of each class make the sale. This has been her first year showing a steer and is the same steer who recently was Grand Champion at the Archer County Livestock Show. After the sale, Isabelle was asked to interview with the Cowboy Channel to share her experience at the FWSSR. Isabelle is an 8th grader at Archer City and the daughter of David and Vanessa Parkey. A winter storm hit Archer County starting Wednesday, Feb. 2, and laid layers of ice and snow throughout the county.

An early morning raid last Tuesday in Archer City resulted in the arrest of Cassandra Mercedes Thomas and the seizure of a controlled substance field tested as methamphetamine. The arrest and seizure were a result of an investigation by the Archer City Police Department.
