Ostermann inducted into Texas A&M Corps of Cadets Hall of Honor

Since 2001, the Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets Association (CCA) has proudly sponsored the Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets Hall of Honor. On Aug. 23, the CCA hosted and sponsored the 10th annual Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets Hall of Honor Gala and Induction Ceremony at the Ford Hall of champions at Kyle Field in College Station.

Windthorst ISD to seek proposals for land exchange

The Windthorst ISD school board passed a resolution declaring the district’s real property behind the P.E. gym as surplus and delegating authority to the superintendent to advertise and receive offers for a property exchange during its meeting on Monday, Sept. 8.

Bridge replacement set for Hwy. 25

More road work is underway and set to begin in Archer County as the Texas Department of Transportation announced plans to start a bridge replacement on Highway 25. The bridge is being replaced at the Middle Fork of the Wichita River.

Archer City approves Contract with AMR

The Archer City Council officially approved the contract with American Medical Response for ambulance service operations for portions of Archer County for the next fiscal year during its meeting on Thursday, Aug. 28.
