Archer County Sheriff's Offce, Texas Department of Public Safety and Windthorst first responders responded to a three vehicle crash on U.S. 281 Thursday, Oct. 22. Injuries from the crash were unknown as of press time.

The Archer City ISD School Board was in agreement Monday, Oct. 26, to move forward with improvements to the Ag Shop.

Blue Bell Creameries celebrated Windthorst Elementary School’s National Blue Ribbon Award with a ice cream party for the school’s student and staff on Thursday, Oct. 22.

The Archer City Country Club recently had two players hit a hole in one on the course. Jimmy Davis (top) hit his first ever hole in one on hole #1 on Labor Day at 8:15 a.m. Witnesses were Llyod Wells and David Eispanner. Mitchell Roberts (bottom) hit a hole in one on Hole #8, which is 184 yards, on Oct. 10 at 3:56 p.m. Witnesses were Kyle Wyatt, Mike Coker and Jeff Forester.
