The Archer City Salvation Army is organizing an Angel Tree to serve children in need within Archer City.

The Archer City ISD school board approved the elementary and junior high/ school campus improvement plans during its meeting Wednesday, Nov. 18.

For many years, Gary Johnston Post 198 American Legion has sponsored a community Thanksgiving meal for any and all that wanted to show up. The Legion also delivered meals on wheels that day of up to 50 meals.
