Archie Andrews, 94, lifelong resident of Archer County, died on Oct. 9, 2022 at a Wichita Falls hospice.

Amy Jackson, age 55, of Scotland, passed away peacefully Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, at her residence after a hard-fought battle with a rare bile duct cancer where she turned a three-month expectancy into a year and a half, showing what a fighter she really was in anything she put her faith and mind to. Vigil service and rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, followed by Mass being celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Moloney, Pastor of St. Mary’s and St. Boniface Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be in St. Boniface Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City. Amy was born Nov. 9, 1966 in Olney, Texas to Anton August “Tony” Wolf and Mary Gladys Vieth Wolf. Amy attended school in Windthorst and then graduated from Wichita Falls High School. After graduation she earned her cosmetology license from Aladdin Beauty College in Wichita Falls. Amy was a beautician for several years. She worked as a nurse’s aide at the Wichita Falls State Hospital and later was a plant worker for Howmet in Wichita Falls.

Dorthy Gresham Downing, age 86, of Archer City, passed away Saturday evening, Sept. 17, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her children.

Michael B. Clifton, known by many as “Cowboy” or “Mike”, passed away Aug. 13, 2022 in Lindsay. Mr. Clifton was born in Olney, on Aug. 6, 1958. He graduated high school in Archer City. Mr. Clifton worked for Boeing for many years before retirement. His greatest joys were going out to eat and spending time with his family, particularly his grandson.

Darrell W. Byrne, 87, of Olney, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, Aug.

Norman Musgrave, age 73, of Archer City, Texas passed away Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, peacefully at home.

Elsie Wyvon Bitner Baughman, age 90, of Early, formerly of Archer City, passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022 at her residence. Services was held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, at Aulds Funeral Home with Jon Curry, Pastor of Grace Community Church of Archer City, officiating. Interment followed in the Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City. Elsie Wyvon was born Jan. 14, 1932 in Littlefield, to the late Jesse Faye Bitner and Cleo Nevil Willingham Bitner.

David Evans, age 61, of Holliday, passed away July 9, 2022. A celebration of life were held at 9 a.m.

Brandi Delayne Davis, passed away on Tuesday, July 12 at the Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder after a brief illness. She was 50 years of age.

Clifton Don Harrelson, age 54, of Flower Mound, passed away Friday morning, July 8, 2022, in a Lewisville hospital. Services were held at 2 p.m.
