The Archer City Wildcats (3-3, 1-1) snapped a twogame losing streak with a dominant 42-0 win on the road over Electra on Friday, Oct. 9. The Wildcats move to 1-1 in District 6-2A play following the victory.
The 17th-ranked Holliday Lady Eagles (16-4, 8-1) saw their 12-match winning streak come to a halt at the hands of the Henrietta Lady Cats in a heartbreaking, fiveset (25-21, 21-25, 16-25, 25-22, 15-12) affair on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
Windthorst’s Tara Tackett continues to fill up the stat sheet, posting a triple-double in the Trojanettes 3-0 (25-17, 25-10, 25-17) win over Bryson on Tuesday, Oct. 6. The talented sophomore logged 10 kills, 14 assists and 14 digs to help Windthorst (8-12, 4-0) run its winning streak to six.
