Body The Windthorst Trojans saw their season come to an end in the Area Round at the hands of a dominant rushing attack from the Roscoe Plowboys on Thursday, Nov. 16, in Abilene.

Body The Lady Eagles exceeded all expectations in 2023. For a team that returned just four letterwinners from last year’s squad and adding a first-time head coach, few believed the Lady Eagles were capable of an unbeaten run through district and a pair of playoff wins.

Body Holliday made it look easy. The Eagles (10-1) scored in all three phases – in the first four minutes no less – and essentially ended their bi-district matchup with Eastland (3-8) before it ever really got started in a 44-7 rout.
