After her husband’s death in April 2020, Theresa Wells stepped forward to continue his legacy in running Harvest Food Ministry in Holliday. Mike Wells Sr., who was the pastor for Holliday Assembly of God, started the non-profit in 2010.

Atmos Energy presented a check for $500 to Harvest Food Ministries, a kids feeding program in Holliday. On Thursday, Aug. 12, they prepared boxes of food for 150 children in the community. Texas Hunting, Fishing Licenses now on sale

The start of a new hunting season is right around the corner and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is reminding hunters and anglers that current year Texas hunting and fishing licenses (except the Year-from-Purchase All-Water Fishing Package) will expire at the end of August. New licenses for the 2021-22 season go on sale Aug. 15.

Big Blue Band going medieval in 2021

Windthorst’s Big Blue Band from Trojanland was an instrumental part in the Trojan’s state championship run last season. This year, they’ll be led by a pair of players that helped orchestrate that run.
