Texas Health Services hosting immunizations clinic

The Texas Department of State Health Services has appointments available for adult and childhood immunizations at their Field Office located at 511 S Cedar Street in Archer City. Masks are required and all clients/guardians will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms upon entry to the facility.

Strenski named Lakeside City interim city manager

The Lakeside City city council named Emergency Management Coordinator John Strenski as the interim city manager during a special called meeting Thursday, April 1. Strenski was named the emergency management coordinator for the city in October 2020.

FWSSR awards scholarships to five county youth

Lakeside City council discusses city streets project

Dean Hinton with Corlett, Probst and Boyd presented preliminary plans for street repairs to the council at the Lakeside City Council meeting Tuesday, March 23. Hinton only projected $276,000 in projects for overlaying, seal coat and patch work on his initial walk through of the city’s streets.

Hemmis celebrate 60 years

Arthur and Helen Hemmi celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary with a trip to Broken Bow, Okla., in June 2020. The event was planned and hosted by their five children and spouses: Ginger White, Belinda and Tom O’Brien, Bryan and Kim Hemmi, Pamela and Lloyd Wolf Jr., Stacey and Chad Steinberger.
