Holliday middle school took first place in its Academic UIL District Meet, competing against Henrietta, City View and Nocona. The Eagles won the meet with 1,381 points, over 400 points better than runner-up Henrietta (743) and more than 1,000 points better than City View (277) and Nocona (134).

The Sheriff’s Office received 89 Calls for Service during the past seven day period ending Sunday, Dec. 20. On the day of this report there were 29 individuals incarcerated in the Archer County Jail consisting of 25 men and four women.

Windthorst Trojans… State Champs!! One point victory! I would have loved to have been there. Those who were likely spent most of that game on the edge of their seats.
