Service Center takes over “Socks and Blankets for Seniors”

In years past during the holiday season the Archer County News has sponsored the “Socks for Seniors” drive and Beyond Faith Hospice, LLC has provided blankets for senior citizens. The residents at the nursing home were the primary beneficiaries of the seasonal socks and blankets.

Le Chateau Pet Resort opens in Archer County

A new pet-friendly business has opened its door in Archer County as Le Chateau Pet Resort debuts its second Texas location. “We started in 2009, we opened our pet resort in Amarillo, and we have had some wonderful years of success,” CEO Dawn Hallgren said.
