For the first time in school history, Holliday is heading to the state basketball tournament. The Lady Eagles powered through the regional tournament, downing Shallowater (59-37) and Jim Ned (53-40) by double digits to earn their first trip to the Alamodome.

Wildcats walloped by Cisco in bi- district

Archer City’s season came to a disappointing end in a 57-27 loss to Cisco on Tuesday evening in Weatherford. The Wildcats season comes to an end with a 17-14 overall record after earning the No. 3 seed for the postseason. Archer City trailed 15-5 after one quarter and 36-10 at the half.
