The Archer City Lady Cats ended a 10-match losing streak with a thrilling five-set win over Alvord (24-26, 25-12, 22-25, 25-22, 15-8) on the road on Tuesday. The Archer City Elementary School Book Buddy Program is looking for volunteers to take 30 minutes a week to help with the development and growth of an elementary student. The book buddy program was started in 2016 by Vicki Davis and Jessica Deerinwater.
