Archer County Sheriff 's Report

Body
The Sheriff’s Office has received 173 calls for service this past week. As this report is being written, there are 28 inmates 2 being female in the Archer County Jail. Monday morning started out with a fire in the Archer County Jail. Around 7:15am one of the small dryers in the Jail laundry caught fire. Jail Captain Dale Richey being an Archer City VFD member quickly went into action and put the fire out within seconds. No damage was done to the building and only the dryer was damaged. The case appears to have been the motor on the dryer overheated and caught fire. After about an hour the smoke evacuation system in the jail had removed all smoke and smell from the building. Later on Monday Deputies and Holliday PD were called to a disturbance in Holliday. The caller stated that he had busted his dads lip. The caller stated that his dad was no longer there but he did want to file charges. Officers arrived on the scene and took a report of Assault Family Violence. This case is still open and being investigated by the Holliday Police Department.

How can anyone make it?

Body
As a Pastor, I am supposed to be 'full of faith, always confident, never negative and optimistic about the future.' I recently caught myself giving in to the pressure! Someone was talking about the price of everything going up and I said, 'I don't know how anyone can make it.' In that moment I realized, I was repeating the negative attitudes that I have been hearing so often lately. It sparked something in me to tackle this honest question that people are having right now. Here are three solid truths to stand on to answer this question.
