Archer City council approves 4B fund use

Body The Archer City city council voted to approve resolutions which authorizes the expenditure of up to $20,000 in 4B funds to the Royal Theater and the Archer County Museum and Art Center during its meeting Thursday, June 24.

Frodyma graduates War College

Body Lt. Col. Misti Frodyma, a 1994 Archer City High School graduate, completed a master’s degree in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, June 11. Frodyma’s next position is as the Deputy Commander, Defense Logistics Agency for CENTCOM & SOCOM, Doha, Qatar.

Archer County's Loran named Miss Rodeo Texas

Body Archer County resident Bobbi Loran was named Miss Rodeo Texas in San Antonio over the weekend of June 23 through 25. Loran grew up in Scotland and attended Archer City ISD from which she graduated from in 2017.

Hash to lead Archer City FFA program

Body An Archer City graduate is returning home to lead the ACISD FFA and agriculture program as Tanner Hash was recently named the district’s new agriculture teacher. Hash attended Archer City ISD from kindergarten through his graduation in 2014.
