Workforce Solutions North Texas will be hosting a Job Fair Week, June 21 through June 25. The organization will be having industry specific sub events (see schedule below). The event will be open Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 4 pm, with veteran’s preference from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.

Cy Belcher: Valedictorian Scholarship, A renewable Outstanding Freshman, renewable Top 10% and renewable Valedictorian Scholarship all from Midwestern State University, Bingo Kinder Scholarship, Remember the Vietnam War Scholarship, All Sports Booster Club, Top of Texas Football Scholarship, Michelle Berend Cannedy Memorial Scholarship, Monte Schenk Memorial Scholarship and Windthorst National Honors Society. Cy also received the Honor Award in English.

Archer City student awarded $16,000 Phillips 66 scholarship

One student from the Archer City area is among the 49 high school seniors across the nation who will each receive $16,000 college scholarships from the Phillips 66 Dependent Scholarship Program. The competitive program is open to outstanding college-bound students whose parents work for Phillips 66 and certain of its subsidiary companies.
