Archer County Judge Randy Jackson reported Monday, Jan. 25, the county has seen 18 new COVID-19 cases in the last week. The county will be included in the GA-29 mandate unless there are less than 30 cases in a two-week period.

The Archer City ISD school board received and approved the Financial Audit Report during its school board meeting Monday, Jan. 25.

Chris H. Bachmann, Jr. and Carolyn Kocks Bachmann celebrated fifty years of love and joy together on Jan. 2, 2021. The Sheriff’s Office received 87 calls for service this week. As of this date, there was 22 inmates in the Archer County Jail.

The Lakeside City city council set a grand opening for its new fire department, city hall and community center building during its council meeting Tuesday, Jan. 19.
