For many years, Gary Johnston Post 198 American Legion has sponsored a community Thanksgiving meal for any and all that wanted to show up. The Legion also delivered meals on wheels that day of up to 50 meals. "We wish to thank all the companies and individuals who have helped us do this," said Burk Morris, Commander of the Post.
This year, in addition to Santa Letters, we will have a Christmas picture contest.
We welcome all students in PK-3 to participate in Santa Letters for publication to the Archer County News. Letters will be published December 17 in our special edition. You can assure students we promptly send the letters to Santa as well.
