Eucharist, encountering Jesus, and eucharistic miracles

Body
This past Sunday, Catholics all over the world celebrated the annual feast day of ‘The Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.’ This celebration is the worship of Jesus ‘really present’ in the Eucharist. Yes, the Eucharist is believed by Catholics and some other Christians to be the literal body and blood of Jesus Christ. This belief is that Jesus Christ is bodily ‘really present’ but veiled under the appearances of bread and wine. This belief is by faith alone and is rooted in the words of Jesus at the Last Supper, where He identified the bread and the wine as his body and blood (Mt 26:20-29, Mk 14:17-25, Lk 22:14-20, and 1 Cor 11: 23-25). Jesus said it, this settles it, we believe it.
