Body Windthorst and Sterling City met Thursday night in a playoff showdown between programs just two seasons removed from a state championship. Nevermind the fact Sterling City’s state title was won in the six-man ranks.

Body Fourteen years after its last state title, Windthorst became the state’s alltime winningest program, bringing home state title No. 14 following a backand-forth five set (25-12, 20-25, 25-23, 14-25, 15-12) win over Lindsay (39-10) in Friday’s title game matchup.
