Body Windthorst suffered a 20-13 loss to Seymour in a district championship showdown with the Panthers but due to the margin of defeat, still escaped Baylor County with the No. 1 seed for the postseason.

Body Holliday’s winning ways continued with both the boys and girls cross country teams winning the Region I-3A championships on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock.

Body Holliday completed a perfect run through District 7-3A, collecting sweep after sweep after sweep. It’s been over two months since the Lady Eagles dropped a set, dating back 18 matches to an Aug. 27 meeting against Caprock.
