Archer City notched their first district win following their loss to the Lady Indians, sweeping the Lady Cubs at home. The two sat tied at 11-11 before Olney pulled away with an 8-2 run to go ahead 20-13.

The Trojans bounced back in a big way on Friday, Sept. 19. After a 53-13 loss to Muenster a week prior, Windthorst whipped the Alvord Bulldogs 42-23 at home. 14 of the Bulldogs’ points came in the fourth quarter, when they were down 42-9.

It was a clash between two teams desperate to notch a win before district as the Archer City Wildcats battled the Nocona Indians at Jack Crain Stadium on Friday, Sept. 19.

It was an intra-county volleyball battle on Monday, Sept. 22 as the #8 3A Holliday Lady Eagles hosted the #5 ranked Windthorst Trojanettes. Despite the 3-1 victory by the Lady Eagles, the two clashed in four close contests that very easily could’ve went either way.

For the first time under third-year head coach Kyle Atwood, the Holliday Eagles start out the season with a 4-0 record after a 64-41 win over the Burkburnett Bulldogs at Bulldog Stadium on Friday, Sept. 19.

The 2025 Texas High School Bass Association started for the Red River HS Bass Club on Lake Lewisville Saturday, September 20th. Seven teams from our RRHSBC including Windthorst FFA's Hunter Moss and Phillip Prespentt showed up and were part of 143 teams who had entered for the day to see who could come out with the most weight in bass.

It was a tale of halves in the Trojans’ road battle with the Muenster Hornets on Friday, Sept. 12.
