Harrison hauls in Wide Receiver One designation

Being a wide receiver at Holliday High School has seen an uptick in usage over the last three years. For the longest time, the Eagles ran the Wing-T offense, a run-oriented offensive scheme that brought Holliday a ton of success on the gridiron.

Luigi’s leadership will play key role for Lady Eagles

Holliday has a rich history of quality volleyball teams year-in and year-out, and long-time Lady Eagle Bennett Luig plans to maintain that consistency for her senior season. As one of the consistent faces around the program, Luig is coming off a junior year where she had 179 kills, 133 digs, and tied for a team-high 67 aces.

Much like their football counterparts, the Holliday Lady Eagles graduated a magnitude of skill and experience from last year, but head coach Kimberly Hargrove believes the versatility of this year’s squad will be the defining characteristic of the team.

Stark Reality

Brothers Jaxon and Aiden Stark were destined to become star athletes. The older sons of current Windthorst coaches Dylan and Heather Schreiber Stark, the youngest son Mason is in middle school at Windthorst, the athletic genes from both families poured into their kids.

Trojanettes look to make return to state tourney

The 25-26 Windthorst Trojanettes will be strong in a variety of ways, but possibly their biggest strength will come from the sheer amount of varsity experience each player has. This year’s squad returns 12 athletes from last season’s state semifinals run, and head coach Allison Bussey is confident in the team’s defense to once again be a strong point.

Trojans to lean on age in 2025 season

Varsity experience is one of the key elements for a successful football team, and for the 25-26 Trojans, they will lean heavily on that aspect. Going into this year, the Windthorst football team graduated just seven seniors from last year, while returning over half of the starters on both sides of the ball.
The Trojans will lean heavily on their varsity experience as they aim to compete as one of the best teams in the region.

Trojans’ Cross Country look to return to state

WHS Cross Country The Windthorst Cross Country teams will be in very different situations for the 25-26 season compared to last year. The Trojans will look to build on their second- place finish at the state meet, while the Trojanettes hope to see improvement from a respectable 24-25 campaign.
