The fourth-ranked Windthorst Trojanettes are fresh off another 7-1 week which culminated in another championship at Nocona’s Buckle Up for Lane’s Sake tournament this past weekend. With the tournament slate now in the books, Windthorst has built up a 23-2 record.

After a tumultuous offseason, it had to feel good for Archer City head coach Bradan Ritchey to finally get his team back to football. His Wildcats dominated in all three facets of the game, cruising to a 44-8 win over Quanah in the season opener on Friday, Aug. 25.

Windthorst (16-1) posted a 9-1 record on the week including a runner-up finish at the Lu Allen Memorial Tournament, facing off largely against bigger competition.
