Ava Dora of Archer County Farm Bureau has been elected the 20262027 Texas A&M Collegiate Farm Bureau Off-Campus Ambassador. In the officer role, Dora will be responsible for all recruitment and social activities that happen off campus.

The Archer County Commissioner’s Court approved the location of an expansion of the Archer County Junior Livestock Show Barn on Monday, April 13. ACJLS Board President Jason Austin presented the request to the court.

The Holliday ISD school board approved a contract with Walker Quality Services to oversee the new secondary school cafeteria during its meeting on Monday, April 13. Superintendent Cody Carroll said the district is currently $75,000 over budget in its food service program, largely due to high spending on processed foods and low student participation at the middle and high school levels.
