Bennie McCann, age 78, of Windthorst, passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, at his residence.

Thomas James “Sonny” Rux, 84, of Archer City, retired U.S. Navy and former local businessman, reunited in Heaven with his wife Louise on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 22. He was released from his earthly duties at his home with his daughters at his side after a very recent cancer diagnosis.

Sonny’s ashes will be interred into a joint plot with Louise at Archer County Cemetery. Plans for a memorial service are pending.

Donnie Cox, age 65, of Abilene, formerly of Archer City, passed away Monday, Nov. 20, in Abilene.

Ernie Prescher, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023.

Rita Jean Moer Luig, age 68, of Holliday, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023, at her Archer County residence.

William Garrett Huggett, known to his loved ones as Will, passed away on Oct.19, 2023, in Goodyear, Ariz. at the age of 20. Born on March 2, 2003, in North Richland Hills. Will had a zest for life that was contagious to all who knew him.

James Anthony (Rusty) Pollock passed October 23, 2023 in Wichita Falls, Texas. His memorial service was held at 10 a.m.

Gladys Scheffe Wolf, age 91, of Windthorst, Texas passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023, in Wichita Falls.

Dr. James Louis Poirot, age 79, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 surrounded by his family.

Our sweet, beautiful, Kaybree Ann Coleman, 18, of Windthorst, Texas, passed away Friday, Oct. 20, 2023.
