The annual Ruby Mc-Caskill Memorial Softball Tournament took place on Saturday, July 26 at the Archer City High School Baseball field. This yearly fundraising event put on by Jeffrey Blassingame Jr., who has headed the event for over 10 years, started as a way to raise awareness and funds for an Archer County native that is in need.

4-H is one of the biggest youth organizations in the country, offering a wide variety of programs and activities that are not always available at a school district. One of those activities is archery, and that is where incoming Archer City High School freshman Kash Doyle has already made his mark.
