Archer City High School achieves Level 1 certification in MHRS

Archer City High School is pleased to announce the achievement of Level 1 certification in Marzano High Reliability Schools™. Level 1 certification means Archer City High School has created a “Safe, Supportive, and Collaborative Culture,” which is the foundation for every level that follows. Without such a culture, student achievement will be compromised. Day-to-day school operations are addressed and evaluated in Level 1.

MSU Texas to join Texas Tech University System this fall

On June 8, Gov. Greg Abbott signed HB 1522, officially designating Midwestern State University (MSU Texas) as a member institution of the Texas Tech University System (TTU System), effective Sept. 1, 2021. The bill was authored by state Rep. James Frank and sponsored by state Sen. Drew Springer.

Holliday ISD reviews demographics study

The Holliday ISD School Board met for its scheduled meeting on Monday, June 14, at the administration building. Michelle Box of Zonda Education provided a demographics study for the board “We did see a tiny bit of a slowdown in historical enrollment this year,” Box said.
