Windthorst Council discusses sewer line project

To help benefit Windthorst, discussion was held by the city council to continue looking into the process of upgrading the sewer lines on Wednesday, June 9. “The existing project we are looking at replacing was done in 1976,” said Mayor Pro Tem, Justin Keener.

One arrested for sexual assualt of a child

An Archer County man was arrested for aggravated sexual assault of a child, a first-degree felony, and indecency of a child, a second-degree felony, on Friday, June 10. According to an Archer County Arrest Warrant during a forensics interview conducted at Patsy’s House Child Advocacy Center in Wichita Falls, Bobby Crawford McNair, 31, was accused by a 10-year-old and a six-year-old of inappropriately touching them.
