Trojanettes begin district play

District 9-2A basketball is officially underway for the Windthorst Trojanettes, who finished last year with 8-4 district record and will look to replicate that same success this season. Lady Cats bounce back

After a rough start against the two top teams in District 9-2A, Nocona and Seymour, the Archer City Lady Cats rebounded with a pair of wins over the Electra Lady Tigers and the Olney Lady Cubs. Senior Addy Peters exploded for a team-leading 17 points in Archer City’s 51-42 road-victory over Electra on Tuesday, Jan.
