The Holliday Lady Eagles are locked in for the 3A-D1 playoffs after their back-to-back wins over the Bowie Lady Rabbits on Tuesday, Feb. 3 and the Iowa Park Lady Hawks on Friday, Feb.

The University Interscholastic League (UIL) released their biennial reclassification and realignment for 2026-2028 football, volleyball, and basketball seasons on Monday, Feb. 2. Although WindthorstandArcherCity saw no change in their district, Holliday experienced several district shakeups in all three sports.

Both the Windthorst Trojans and Trojanettes achieved series sweeps over the Petrolia Pirates and Lady Pirates on Friday, Jan. 30.

The Archer City Lady Cats’ quest for a second- straight playoff appearance continued in a home battle with the Electra Lady Tigers on Friday, Jan. 30.

The Windthorst Trojanettes extended their win to three following their 30-point road-win over Olney on Tuesday, Jan. 22.

It was a battle of the unbeatens on Tuesday, Jan. 20 as the Holliday Eagles (5-0) and the City View Mustangs (4-0) clashed in a highly-anticipated match that could decide the District 7-3A champion later on in the season.
