Body After a successful season on the gridiron by all three high schools, all-district football selections have been announced. Archer City The Wildcats posted an 8-3 mark, winning District 6-2A DII and giving Archer City its first district championship since 2008.

Body Albany scored 14 points off a pair of Windthorst interceptions that proved to be the difference maker in the Trojans’ 28-14 Class 2A-DII Region II Final loss to the Lions. Windthorst’s state title defense comes to an end following a 12-2 campaign.

Body Gunter’s defense forced eight three-and-outs and limited Holliday to just four first downs in a 35-14 win for the Tigers in the Class 3A-DII Region II Final at Northwest Stadium in Justin on Friday, Dec. 3.
