After a successful season on the gridiron by all three high schools, all-district football selections have been announced. Archer City The Wildcats posted an 8-3 mark, winning District 6-2A DII and giving Archer City its first district championship since 2008.

Girls Archer City 53, Breckenridge 41 (12/7) Bailey Grant scored 21 points and had six rebounds to lead the Lady Cats to a 53-41 win over the Lady Bucks. Mallory Maxwell added 11 points and six steals while Aspyn Huseman had a strong allaround performance with 11 points, six rebounds, three steals and five assists.
