The city of Archer City, Archer City ISD, city of Windthorst, Windthorst ISD and city of Holliday saw new faces chosen to represent the voters in the May 7 election. In the city of Archer City mayoral race, Jake Truette received 206 votes, or 81.10%, to succeed Kelvin Green.
The Holliday City Council discussed what actions the city has taken since Police Chief Joe Chunn’s death and what actions may still need to occur during its council meeting Monday, May 9.
