A petition has been filed with the 97th District Court to remove District Attorney Casey Hall until her theft case is resolved. Hall was indicted for theft of property greater than $2,500 less than $30,000 from Montague County on Monday, July 8.

Kreede Neal, Ava Dora and Isabelle and Whitt Parkey represented Archer County at the Texas 4-H Congress in Austin last week. Texas 4-H Congress is a four-day mock legislative experience for high school aged 4-H members.

The Archer County Commissioner’s Court continued budget discussion during its meeting on Monday, July 22. County Auditor Cristi Kellar provided the commissioners with a document showing each elected officials’ salaries compared to where it was in 2020.
