Holliday’s girls dominated the District 7-3A track meet, more than doubling up second place Breckenridge (107) with 248 points. The Lady Eagles had a first place finisher in 13 of 16 events, including sweeping all three relays.

Friday, April 15 Holliday 10, Henrietta 0 Holliday (24-2) capitalized on four early errors by Henrietta to roll to a 10-0 shutout before celebrating its second-straight district championship. “It’s nice to have an outright title,” Lady Eagles head coach Billy Arbogast said.

Thursday, April 7 Archer City 13, Electra 0 (Gm. 1) Chris Allen (2-0) kept Chris Allen (2-0) kept the Tigers off-balance all night, scattering two hits and striking out 12 in the Wildcats’ 13-0 win over Electra.

For the second straight year, the Windthorst Trojanettes are champions of District 9-2A on the track circuit. Windthorst posted a team score of 196, topping second place Archer City by 80 points.
