Wednesday, March 23 Holliday 3, Henrietta 0 Holliday (18-1) faced their stiffest test in District 7-3A action in a 3-0 win on the road at Henrietta. Addison Lindemann (13-1) tossed a complete game, two-hit shutout with 12 strikeouts and provided the biggest hit of the game with a two-run double in the top of the third.

Wednesday, March 23 Holliday 11, Henrietta 3 Holliday (16-3) scored two in the fifth and five in the sixth to break the game open in an 11-3 win over Henrietta. Cooper Turner (4-1) earned the win, scattering two hits and five walks for three runs (one earned) over 4.0 innings of work while striking out seven.

Archer County Track and Field update

It was another busy week on the track circuit with Holliday and Windthorst taking part in the Glen Eickman Relays on Thursday, March 24. The Lady Eagles won the meet with a team score of 178 while the Trojanettes came in fourth with 73 points. On the boys side, Holliday came in third with 90 points and the Trojans came in eighth with 37 points
Holliday’s Distance Medley Relay team of Jaycee Lyons, Bailee Bowers, Breagan Blowers and Hannah Spears posted the nation’s fourth fastest time at 12:16.45 during the Texas Relays on Friday, March 25. Courtesy photo
