Body Tuesday, April 27 Petrolia 13, Archer City 7 Archer City was unable to overcome seven errors in a 13-7 loss to Petrolia. Justin Browning (5-5) was tagged with the loss, allowing eight runs (five earned) on seven hits with three walks and a strikeout over 3.0 innings of work.

Big innings fuel Holliday’s bi-district win

Body Holliday (30-1) capitalized on a pair of big innings in game one and game two to complete the series sweep of Peaster in the bi-district round on April 29-30. The Lady Eagles move on to meet Ballinger (17-7) in area.
Sophomore Addison Lindemann was nearly unhittable in Holliday’s bi-district sweep of Peaster to send the Lady Eagles to the area round. In 10.0 innings in the circle, she fanned 23 Lady Greyhounds while allowing just four hits.
