Hoegger aiming for state medal

Body
Being the best at a specialized event in track and field is tough business. It takes hours and hours of practice of doing the same movements with very slight tweaks, hoping to shave even a tenth of a second, or add another quarter inch to throw or height. Nowhere is that grit and determination more imbodied than in senior Trojanette discus thrower, Gabby Hoegger.

No Seniors? No problem for Trojanettes

Body
Last season, the Trojanettes had just one senior and a crew of freshmen and sophomore players filling the roster. One year later, that senior is gone, and those same athletes, now juniors and sophomores, will be expected to lead the way this season.

Holliday’s CD gets one last play

Body
Holliday senior Carly Duggins, affectionately referred to as “CD” by her coaches and teammates, is coming off a breakout junior season on the hill. In 139.2 innings pitched, last year’s 7-3A District Pitcher of the Year collected a whopping 22 wins and 82 strikeouts after taking over starting pitcher duties following the graduation of Lady Eagle great Addi Lindemann. Lady Eagles continue standard

Body
