The Windthorst Trojanettes battled their hearts out in the Bi-District double-header playoff matchup versus the Collinsville Lady Pirates on Thursday, April 25. The Lady Pirates headed into the series on a fivegame win streak, while the Trojanettes were 2-3 in their last five games.

The Archer City High School tennis team saw all three doubles teams win gold at the district meet in Holliday on Monday, April 22 and Wednesday, April 24. With these victories, not only are the tandems district champions, but they also punch their ticket to regionals.

Bristow averaged 25.8 points per game, nearly eclipsing 1,000 total points for the season with 930 points on the year on 58% shooting from the floor. He also averaged 9.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.6 steals per game. The senior scored at least 20 points in 31 games and posted 11 contests with at least 30 points. He picked up THSCA Super Elite Team MVP and will go down as one of the all-time greats for the Eagles.

Lady Cats take home district title with win over Trojanettes

The Archer City Lady Cats took home the district championship on Senior Night after a convincing 13-2 victory over the Windthorst Trojanettes on Friday, April 19. After a fourth-place finish in the in the year before and a district title in the 21-22 season, the young and hungry Lady Cats claim their second district championship in five years.
