Both the Windthorst Trojans and Trojanettes are sending athletes to the state meet to represent the program after a successful UIL Region 2-2A Regional Track & Field meet at Porcupine Stadium in Springtown, Texas on Friday, April 19 and Monday, April 22.

Wood helped Holliday’s title defense by leading the team with 13.1 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.2 steals per game. The senior scored in double figures in 23 contests while dropping a season-high 25 points against City View on Jan. 12. Holliday FFA competed in the Area contest on Wednesday, April 10, and advanced its Ag Mechanics team to the state competition. Holliday (23-7, 9-2) locked up District 7-3A’s No. 2 seed for the postseason with a pair of lopsided wins over City View (15-0) and Bowie (12-2).

Starting pitcher Kamdyn Neal and the rest of the Windthorst Trojanettes made quick work of the Perrin-Whitt Lady Pirates on Friday, April 12, trouncing the home team to the tune of 25-0 in just two innings of offense.
