Body After scoring a career-high four touchdowns in the Trojans’ win over Clyde on Sept. 10, Windthorst senior Haven Vieth one-upped himself with a five touchdown night in Friday’s 46-12 win over Chico.

Body The 7th Grade Spartans ended their game with the Iowa Park Hawks in a tie, 16-16. Brock Belcher led the Spartans offensively, tossing two touchdown passes, one to Braiden Messineo and the other to Brodie Belz. Defensive Standouts were Hayden Cavazos and Riley Hoffman.

Body The fourth-ranked Holliday Eagles rode a 34-point first quarter to a 62-14 rout of Nocona (1- 7, 0-3). The Eagles (8-0, 3-0) are two wins away from the program’s first unbeaten regular season since 2008.

Body The Archer City defense forced six turnovers as the Wildcats blew past Munday, 49-7. The Wildcats improve to 5-2 overall and 3-0 in district after winning their third-straight contest.

Body The Holliday Eagle Band earned itself a berth to the UIL State Marching Competition after a strong performance at Area in Denton at Collins Stadium Saturday, Oct. 23.

Body In a game that featured 28 accepted penalties for 270 yards, Holliday outlasted Callisburg 26-6 in a matchup of undefeated teams in District 6-3A. With all Eagles penalized 15 times for a 155 yards, the offense struggled to get going.
