Eagles overcome slow start

Body Brock “Big Juicy” Belcher ran for three touchdowns in the 7th grade Spartans’ 18-12 victory over the Seymour Panthers. Defensive standouts were Adam Barton and Jackson Ziccarelli. The Spartans are now 2-0 and play City View this week on the road.

Lady Eagles dominate Jacksboro, City View

Body Holliday (25-5, 3-0) made quick work of Jacksboro and City View in the second week of District 7-3A play. The Lady Eagles ran their winning streak to six following Friday night’s win over the Lady Mustangs. In those six matches, Holliday has won 18-straight sets.

Trojanettes take out Hirschi

Body Windthorst (17-10) cruised to an easy 3-0 (25-12, 25-13, 25-14) win at Hirschi on Tuesday, Sept. 14, to wrap up the Trojanettes’ pre-district slate.
