Senior Sensation: Schreiber Poised for Historic Year

Windthorst senior Conner Schreiber is one of the best pitchers in the area in recent memory. In the last three seasons on the hill for the Trojans, the southpaw has accumulated over 300 strikeouts, and never had an ERA above 1.35 in his three seasons.

Wildcats Counting on Canada’s Leadership

For his senior season as an Archer City Wildcat, Shooter Canada has been the go-to athlete the team leaned on when they needed a play made. Whether it be as the anchor of the offensive and defensive line this past football season, to one of the few seniors on the upcoming baseball team, Canada has had to shoulder a heavy burden.

Young Wildcats Ready to Shake Up AC Tennis

The Archer City tennis program will return five district medalists and four regional qualifiers from their young but talented roster last year, including the district champion in Mixed Doubles. Much like last year, head coach Haley Owen leads a group of mostly underclassmen that will once again be the core strength of the team.

After building one of the most decorated careers in recent Archer City athletics history, senior Addy Peters is getting one last chance to add to it. From deep playoff runs in basketball and softball to a long list of district and state accolades, the Lady Cats standout enters her final season determined to help Archer City make another push when it matters most.

Returning Talent Leads Holliday Baseball into New Season

The Holliday Eagles’ baseball team is coming off their most successful season in 10 years after reaching the 3A-D1 Regional Finals, but after graduating seven seniors, including ace pitcher Michael Stewart, head coach Jason Kress will look to his returners to try and replicate their performance from last year.
